A Mayan cosy.

Palenque is one of the most beautiful architectonic expressions that Mayan inheritance could leave to the next generations. The zone combines not just the best weather but a rich variety of flora and fauna, and the beauty of its constructions that make it worldly famous. Palenque reaches its maximum development expressed on its complex architecture, its pottery and on a special way on the inscriptions, with that, today we know the names of the emperors and principal personages in that age, their principal rituals and the precision of the calendar.

Grijalba River

Grijalva River is also known as The Grand River of Chiapas. Grijalva is the second most plentiful in Mexico and the main about hydroelectric energy production; It arise from the High Cuchumatanes, in Guatemala, crossing Chiapas and Tabasco from north to south and flow in the Mexican Bay; it also cross over the Sumidero Cannon.

Cultural epicenter of Chiapas

This town is located near the Tzotziles’ comunities of Chamula and Zinacatán Village. It’s a mountanious region inside the Chiapas’ mountain range. It’s located in a beautiful part of the meseta, in the border with Guatemala. The ancient Colonial lifestyle in San Cristobal de las Casas left a lot of cultural evidences, that we can see in the architectonic works, with a priceless historic and artistic values.

Agua Azul Waterfalls

As enigmatic as its color…

Any other place in Mexico offers such fantastic and natural pleasure, as these wonderful waterfalls, located at Chiapas. To get there you have to take Saint Cristobal highway, bound for Palenque at the 64 kilometer, a small way will take you to this beautiful place.
