TEQUILALike the name tell us, in this place is cultivated, produced and fabricated this delicious and heady typical beverage from Mexico.

Tequila is between the foothill of Tequila volcano and the Río Grande Cannon. Tequila is a Nahuatl word “Tecuilan or Tequillan” that means “Tributes Place”. Its antique habitants were the Chichimecas, Toltecas, Otomies, Toltecas, and Nahuatlacas. It’s a place with a few plane lands and some valleys, different relieves and a subtropical and semiarid weather.

The traditional Tequila National Fair is celebrated from November 29th to December 13th with different events like the Queens crowing, the exposition of the principal Tequila sellers, that show the process to elaborate this Mexican drinks. In Tequila is performed the Gaudery, cock fights, the serenade with mariachis, fireworks, etc.

First, you have to visit the Malecon, a great place to see the Dawn just in front of the beautiful sea. Dancers, mimes, urban sculptors and tourist from the whole World cross and know this peculiar space.

Although you could admirate the different monuments along the Malecon, like the Famous Arcs that are in front of the principal square, The Rotonda of the Sea, which is a collection of seven fantastic sculptures created by Alejandro Colunga.
