The most important archeological zone in México
Cholula “water that falls from a flight place” It is the most important archeological zone in Mexico and it’s located in Puebla. It has wonderful colonial religious precincts, but the most attractive is the pyramid, which is one of the biggest monuments in the world.
This archeological vestige is conformed by different superposed pyramids along six centuries in a base of 450 meters long and 65 meters high. In fact it’s twice bigger than Sun Pyramid in Teotihuacan and four times bigger in volume than Keops in Egypt.
History tells us that it was dedicated to Chiconahui Quiahuitl, rain god; and when Hernan Cortes arrived to such extraordinary place it was hidden.
