Traveller Tips

mochileros01*Remember that you should take a few things with you, because you are going to carry them in your whole journey; also, is better if you travel in summer because you won’t take so much clothes with you as in winter.

*Take clothes that been easy to wash and dry. Remember that the stamped or dark clothes can dissemble dirtiness; even tough with heat it’s better to wear light colours.

*Jeans or tweed clothes are not so good for your trip, they are too weighty and take a long time to dry, they’re not comfortable to walk or climb, but you can take one with you if you want to party at night.

mochileros02*Always take with you a sweater, even if is a hot place, sometimes the weather conditions go down at night or the highway could be cold.

*Caps and hats can’t miss in your backpack, overcoat for the long day’s journey, and neither forgets your sunglasses.

*And just in case! Take with you a swimming costume.

*Take with you the classic “cangurera” that is a small bag that you can tie on your waist and in which you ca keep your money, credit cards, keys, and important documents.

*Call home at least 3 times a week to say where you are and that you are ok. If there is a telephone in the hostel, give the number to your family.

mochileros03*Take some aspirins, band-aids, tooth-paste, solar blockading, eye drops, ear tampons, toilette paper, shampoo, a sewing basket and the typical Swiss army Knife.

*It’s important to have a camera and maybe a peace of paper and a pen to write your anecdotes according with your experience there.

*And if you want to camping, never forget your sleeping bag, a tent, a blanket, flashlight and a watch.

*Walkman, Discman or iPod! Are a great company on your trip.

*Investigate all you can about the place where you go, because costumes and traditions change from one place to other.

*Never leave your documents or money in your suitcase.

*Take with you a padlock to keep your stuff saved.

mochileros04*Never forget your main documents: ID card, licence, your home address, and an emergency phone number, everything that could identify you.
